CCS seeks sponsors for Better Together Conference –

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — Schools in the city of Charlottesville have announced they will be hosting their first-ever Better Together Conference on August 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will take place at Charlottesville High School.

All school buildings will be closed for the day so that all school division employees can attend the conference.

The division is looking for organizations to sponsor this conference, and donations will be used to provide food, door prizes and candy for hardworking educators during the conference.

This event aims to provide staff with personal development to help students become life-ready graduates.

The Better Together Conference has a tier list for this year:

  • #SWAGTogether: Up to $250 donation. SWAG items will be added to each conference attendee’s bag (e.g. business cards, mugs, pens, sunglasses, etc.)
  • #HereTogether: up to $500 donation. SWAG items will be added to each conference attendee’s bag (eg business cards, mugs, pens, sunglasses, etc.); your logo included on the conference website.
  • #BonEnsemble: Up to $1,000 donation (object or monetary). SWAG items will be added to the bag of each conference participant (e.g. business cards, mugs, pens, sunglasses, etc.); your logo included on the conference website; small logo printed on print (with other #GoodTogether sponsors)
  • #BetterTogether: $1,001 or more donated (item or money). SWAG items will be added to each conference attendee’s bag (eg business cards, mugs, pens, sunglasses, etc.), your logo included on the conference website, small logo printed on a printout (with other #GoodTogether sponsors); a large logo printed and displayed in public areas, and exclusive promotion of your organization/services to the 850 participants during a specific session time.
